If you have ever been on a sports team before, you know all the things you love about it (winning together, loosing together, working out together, eating together, training together, laughing together, struggling together)? It’s almost the same, being on the fire department. And because it’s an easy transition, guiding athletes into the fire service, FAA is on a mission to see every athlete interested in becoming an elite public servant, receive the necessary resources to be successful in getting hired.
2. Do you ever get tired of hearing people complain about something, but never do anything about it? That is exactly what motivated us at Firefighter’s Athletic Association; we realized that we were complaining about the firefighters that were in the backseats of our fire trucks. And because we believe in being a part of the solution, we are here, doing something about it.
Our mission is to take care of our athletes by connecting them to the resources they need to become firefighters. We believe the fire department provides everything we love about being on a sports team and we want to give every athlete the opportunity to experience it for themselves.

The Firefighter’s Athletic Association (FAA) is committed to providing guidance, mentorship, and resources to aspiring firefighters, but participation in our programs does not guarantee employment with any fire department. Hiring decisions are made solely by the respective fire agencies based on their qualifications, testing, and selection processes. FAA does not influence or have control over recruitment outcomes. Our goal is to equip candidates with knowledge and preparation to improve their chances of success. All participants are responsible for meeting the necessary requirements set by their desired fire department.
